I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I don't even get why we really celebrate Thanksgiving. After all, the native americans were in the Americas before the Europeans. So really all we are celebrating is when the first European came to America? I think that's pretty dumb, but whatever.
I went to my grandmother's house around 11:30 this morning. We all had a wonderful time eating and sharing memories with each other. I took my laptop because I had a feeling that we would be there a while and my prediction was right! I ended up making two pictures using a software called Gimp because I had nothing else better to do. Over all, my Thanksgiving went swell. It was kind of weird not having my mom there (due to her stupid decisions on taking drugs and becoming an alcoholic, so mainly personally reasons). I had fun and can't wait until Christmas. I am really into the Christmas spirit this year. Probably because I'm older and don't really care for presents much anymore. Before I was always like "just give me my presents and forget Santa." Now I actually want to help decorate and give to others. I'm not asking for much this year because I actually feel like giving more than getting.
I really don't get why we celebrate Christmas in December because Jesus was born sometime in the summer and like my cousin said, we should celebrate his birth everyday other than just one. Anyways, that's enough of my rambling...
Happy Holidays and keep the faith.
love is the movement.
